Latest media server build

My latest Media Server Build:


-Requirements:
1)  Simple..Simple Simple
2)  I don't want to waste weekends managing it when it crashes.
3)  The wife needs to "understand it".
4)  It needs to turn on fast due to the kids and be stable.

Here is what I've done:
1)  Synology 1511+ NAS unit with 5 X 2TB drives  (very awesome, and easily managed)
2)  Movies, Audio, Pictures on the NAS.
3)  Windows 7, Windows Media Center.. Recorded TV on a local drive.
4)  Mapped drive from Win 7 to NAS
5)  Apple TV 2
6)  Ipad 2 and iPhones
7)  Use Airplay on the Apple device (they most awesome feature).
8)  Purchase Air Media iPhone($1 to $2), but worth $50.
9)  Run the free Air Media server on the windows 7 machine.
10)  Air Media application can read all kinds of files and convert on the fly.


Next steps in the project:  Depend less on the Win 7 machine and use more delivered functionality in the NAS.
